the Creation and Origin of magneto
CREATION
Magneto was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. He was the first villain the X men fought. Magneto was initially created to be Charles Xavier's brother instead of just being a friend. He was created just initially as a villain for the X Men; however, when Marvel pushed to humanize (their) characters particularly the villains Magneto became a holocaust survivor
ORIGIN
Magneto is a mutant who is considered one of the X-men’s greatest enemies as well as allies. Max Eisenhardt is a holocaust survivor who lost all of his family due to the concentration camps. From this experience, Magneto would hold a bitter hatred towards humanity. As a child, Max slowly unlocked his powers of magnetism. Max was reunited with Magda, a girl he loved at the Auschwitz concentration camp, and who he knew from school before they were taken captive. They both escaped the concentration camp and moved to Ukraine. Max decided to adopt the name Magnus after making a home in Ukraine. Over time Magda would give birth to a daughter who they named Anya.
They lived a peaceful life until Magnus' powers started to come out. An angry mob burned down the home of Magnus and Magda, killing their daughter who was still inside the building. Magnus was furious and killed the mob, as well as destroying part of the city with his powers that he couldn’t control at the time. His wife would leave him out of fear and would eventually give birth to twins, who would become the mutants Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch, working for their father when he became Magneto, and who, for a long time, will not even know that Magneto is their father. Magnus would search for his wife, obtaining a cover identity by name of Erik Lehnsherr. His search for Magda would be unfruitful, and he eventually ended up in Israel where he would meet Charles Xavier while working at a psychiatric hospital. They became friends, often discussing many things regarding mutation. Eventually there was an attack at the hospital where Erik and Charles used their powers to fight the attacker. After the battle, they both realized that the(y) had different ideologies and Erik vanished for many years until he reemerged as the mutant Magneto.
