THE Effects of MAGNETO ON society
Magneto is a character comparable to Malcolm X from the civil rights movement. Magneto isn’t an evil man but a who man who fights back against the bigoted and racist people who don’t treat mutants properly. In fact the X Men series is a big reflection of the civil rights issue, with mutants often facing discrimination from the populace. Charles Xavier is similar to Martin Luther King Jr. where he believes that mutants can be on common ground with mankind (and coexist) while Magneto believes there isn’t any common ground and that mutants should be the dominant species. The films based off the X Men series have focused deeply on the civil rights issue.
Magneto is a prime example of man who has faced severe discrimination as a Jew and as well being a mutant. He lashed back at society for the wrongs that were done to him and Jewish people and he feels that mutants don't deserve the same treatments that jews faced in the concentration camps. He does all in his power to prevent that even if it means harming mankind or discriminating against mankind as well.
